Product Description
The variable geometry tritube is a structure of three 25 mm diameter HDPE pipes joined together in variable conformation (flat or triangular) to be used for the protection of fiber optic cables. The structure of the tubes has at the same time a high ring rigidity and good flexibility, with the possibility of being wrapped in long length rolls. Each single pipe is suitable for supporting a pressure of 12.5 bar at 20 ° C (PN12.5).
Thanks to its conformation, the tube structure can be used in an extended or folded configuration, both open and closed, considerably increasing its flexibility of use. Some examples of possible configurations are shown in the diagrams below.
Construction Features
The tubes are available in rolls of various lengths. The polyethylene used is originally added with antioxidants and carbon black. Coextrusion can be chosen according to customer needs, each tube can be identified with strips of different colors or with specific markings.
The marking is printed on every meter of a single pipe and shows the following data:
- Identification of the manufacturer
- Diameter x thickness
- Raw material
- Traceability of the shift date line
- Linear footage
