The universal fiber termination frame is made in N3 technique and is intended for installation in an internal (central) environment, positioned both under a row structure and on the wall. It can contain up to 5 sub-frames, each of which is intended for the attestation of up to 48 optical fibers both with SC-type connectors and using SFF-type connectors such as eg. the LC connectors. In total, therefore, the N3 universal frame is able to terminate 120 or 240 optical fibers, depending on the configuration adopted.
The universal fiber termination frame is produced by the Duratel subsidiary and complies with Telecom Italia Technical Specifications n ° 1426 “TERMINATION FRAME FOR GROOVED CABLE TYPE UP TO 100 F.O. AND TUBES UP TO 120 F.O.” and has been approved by Telecom Italia for use in its exchanges.
Optical Junction and Termination Sub Frame
The DURATEL optical subframe for tube cables is a compact and versatile termination module, designed to terminate up to 48 optical fibers both with SC type connectors and using SFF type connectors such as eg. the LC connectors. The body of the sub-frame and the anchoring brackets are made of RAL 7035 powder-coated iron sheet, while the junction elements and the accessories for the dissipation of the stock of the half-brackets are molded in PC + ABS UL94-HB RAL 7035.
Comes factory assembled with adapters and half braces:
- DUAR07/0: 24 adapters SC/PC, 24 half braces SC/PC, Ø900μm, 3 m.
- DUAR16/0: 48 adapters SC/PC, 48 half braces SC/PC, Ø900μm, 3 m.
- DUAR09/0: 24 adapters LC/PC duplex, 48 half braces LC/PC, Ø900μm, 3 m.
The subframe can be installed in Telecom Italia 300x300x2200 cabinets (CT 1426), up to a maximum of 5 units, by using special brackets that are an integral part of the subframe body. In total, therefore, the N3 universal frame is able to terminate 120 or 240 optical fibers, depending on the configuration adopted.
The sub-frames are equipped with a central body that can be removed from the brackets by sliding guides, in order to make the maintenance and / or network reconfiguration phases easier by the operator. The modules are therefore workable on the bench and can be easily reinserted inside the cabinet. The mechanical structure, with dimensions 265x240x370 mm, is entirely made of iron sheet.
Funzionalità
The 24 fiber optic DURATEL subframe uses 12 single circuit postcards in the junction area, each of which houses 2 fibers 900 μm on the device side and 2 fibers 250 μm on the cable side, allows you to position the two fusion joints and dissipate the richness of fiber.
The DURATEL subframe with 48 optical fibers, be they SC / PC or LC / PC, instead uses 8 single element postcards, each of which houses 6 fibers 900 μm on the device side and 6 fibers 250 μm on the cable side, allows you to position the six joints to fusion and dissipate all the richness of fiber.
