VDSL2 Universal Single Splitter for Quante SID-C modules
It is a single splitter designed for installation in Quante TM SID-C and SID-CT modules, even in street cabinets, thus accelerating the provision of broadband service in VDSL2 standard (138kHz – 30MHz).
The splitters are inserted in the slots of the frame relating to the lines on which the broadband service is offered and act by cutting the continuity between the central side and the line side of the connections, inserting a filter conforming to the ETSI TS 101952-2 standard (Universal splitter POTS / ISDN) and connecting the signal from the DSLAM (xDSL).
The splitters are mechanically and electrically compatible with the 3M / Quante SID-C and SID-CT contact solutions, making 8 contacts (4 for each side) as follows: 2 contacts for the DSL connection (and 2 free contacts) on the DSL side , 2 contacts for the POTS / ISDN connection (TELE) and 2 contacts for the connection to the line (LINE) on the POTS / ISDN side.
