Reinforced Heat Shrink Tubing with Pressure Access / Control Valve
The “DURA PP” heat shrinkable sheath is open type, with pre-installed valve and stainless steel closing hinge, internally covered with a layer of thermoplastic adhesive and externally with a heat-sensitive pigmentation, reinforced with a layer of glass fiber interposed between the sheath and the sticker. The fiberglass reinforcement gives the product high rigidity, preventing the propagation of any thermal or mechanical damage, while keeping the sheath flexible and suitable for application even on bent cables. The pre-installed valve acts as a control / access point for the pressure both on lead muffles and on polyethylene cables.
The main application of the “DURA PP” sheath is as an intermediate point of access or pressure test in pressurized networks and in bedrooms near wardrobes. The high shrinkage ratio (> 3) makes the product versatile and of very general use : three basic dimensions of the sheath make it possible to protect the joints of cables with a diameter between 15 and 95 mm.
