Reinforced Heat Shrink Tubing for Pressurized Dry Cables with Metal Reinforcement and Control Valve Ready
The “DURA GUSS” heat shrink sheath is of the open type, with closing hinges and connecting clips in stainless steel, with a hole designed to house the base of the valve. This type of sheaths is internally covered with a layer of thermoplastic adhesive and externally with a thermosensitive pigmentation. Between the sheath and the adhesive there is a fabric with glass fibers which gives the sheath absolutely unique resistance characteristics. The aluminum support guarantees the necessary mechanical rigidity and prevents the joints placed inside from being crushed. The GUSS sheath finds its main application as protection of the junctions, both straight and branched, of pressurized cables.
